Over my career I've worked on some fantastic projects with a lot of talented designers, copywriters, art directors, UX and developers to create brand conversations.

Below are some recent examples of projects I worked on in recent years whilst at WONDRRMG / DDFHB / JWT, The Brand Union and for myself as DKOS.

EPIC Ireland

EPIC Ireland - Dublin’s dramatic new 21st century visitor experience that showcases the unique global journey of the Irish people. I worked on digital strategy, UX and content for this site.

Big thanks to the team at WONDR who made this project a reality and our talented collaborators JCS and Benajmin Guedj.

Highway1 is the worlds premier hardware startup accelerator, where the products of the future are created. At WONDR I worked on the digital strategy, UX and content for this project.

Big thanks to the team at WONDR who made this project a reality and our talented collaborators JCS and Jérémy Godineau.

KBC Bright Ideas

KBC Bank Ireland invited communities across the country to share their bright ideas for their local community to get funding for meaningful initiatives. I worked on digital strategy which resulted in a new website, digital advertising and social.

Big thanks to the team at WONDR who made this project a reality and our talented collaborators JCS and Julien Vasseur.

The Beer Fridge #MakeitCANADIAN

In 2014 we brought the Red Fridge to 3 cities in Ireland. Simple idea, the fridge only opens for an Irish passport, as we are making you honorary Canadians. All you have to do is find where it will be. We created an advertising campaign, responsive website, content and social channel activation.

Big thanks to Roisin Keown, Peter Snodden, Justin Van Dyke and Jane McGarrigle who actually helped make this project possible.

New Horizon Youth Centre Website

To mark 10 years since I first started volunteering with the charity, I recently completed a digital review of the charity.

As part of the output I created a new responsive website & content to serve as a platform for marketing the centre in order to raise funds. The website also provides useful and easy to find information for young people visiting the centre, that's why it was designed with a mobile first approach.

Google 10 Years in Ireland

Worked on creating a charming, heartfelt film in a lo-fi, hand-made style where all Google interfaces were created for real; a love letter to the Irish, perfectly in keeping with the values of Google Ireland. We also created a responsive website to celebrate the event, allowing you to view the most popular Irish search results from the last 10 years which generated great talking points and interest on social and news sites.

Big thanks to Roisin Keown, Peter Snodden and David Moran who actually helped make this project possible.

Win, Lose or Draw

Building on the success of the eircom's GAA activation work in 2012 I developed a simple idea for a game that gave fans the chance to beat the pundits by correctly guessing the outcome of upcoming matches. Players could compete against well known GAA players, create mini leagues with their friends or join provincial leader boards to win All-Ireland tickets.

Big thanks to Norbert Laposa and Johnny Belton who helped deliver this project with me.

The Gathering Ireland 2013

Digitally connecting Ireland with the rest of the world. A unique project required a unique approach. Development of strategy which resulted in Ireland's best content marketing strategy, website, social activation and advertising to bring people to Ireland in 2013.  This project helped to deliver approximately 275,000 visitors to Ireland in 2013 which generated as much as €170 million in revenue to the Irish economy.

This project was the Grand Prix Winner at both the ADFX 2014 Awards & the DMA 2014 Awards as well as winning in a number of categories. You can watch a short video on what some of the award judges thought of the project here.

Digital Wall at the Soccies

Digital installation piece for Bord Gáis Energy at the 2011 Social Media Awards.

GAA Rebrand

For 3 years I worked on the rebranding of the GAA. A great honour to work on a unique project like this that has made a significant contribution to ensuring our national games are represented in the modern world. To this day there isn't a part of the country or abroad where you don't see the mark and toolkit.

On this project I had the pleasure of working with very talented David O'Connor and Oisín Hurst to deliver this fantastic project which also picked 2 global awards for best practice in branding.

GAA fans looking to spot their club crest

GAA Club Wall

Simple idea to symbolise the connection between GAA clubs and Croke Park by putting the crest of every GAA club on the wall of the stadium. Provides a point of reference for members to spot their own club crest when at the stadium.

The production of this wall installation was by carried out by Billy and his team at Artisan Signs, top guys for any type work like this.
